Police examine the hospital and parents of an autistic child clamped by a therapist in Depok

A sick child autism with the initials RF, his head was clamped by a therapist wearing legs until he screamed at a hospital in Depok, West Java (West Java). The police checked the hospital and RF’s parents this afternoon.

“So the hospital will fulfill the summons to the Polres this afternoon. We will check how the autistic child is being handled. Parents will also be present at the Polres this afternoon to provide information to investigators,” said Metro Depok Police Chief Kombes Ahmad Fuady to reporters at the Depok Metro Police Headquarters. , Wednesday (15/2/2023).

Fuady said that his party would take steps to enforce the law to investigate the case. Child violence is contained in Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.

“From the video that went viral, it was done by a therapist at one of these hospitals. Yes, we will also investigate who the therapist is, who his identity is, and we immediately ask to be examined,” added Fuady.

Fuady said that his party would summon and examine the relevant parties to take action against the perpetrators of violence against children.

“We are very concern and we will commit to take steps to enforce the law,” said Fuady.

Alleged Violence

Previously, a boy with autism with the initials RF was pinned on his head by a foot therapist causing him to scream at a hospital in Depok, West Java (West Java). Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Ahmad Fuady revealed that there was violence committed by the therapist.
