Police Denies Forced Close of McDonald’s Ciater Tangsel due to long traffic jams

TANGERANG SELATAN, KOMPAS.com – South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Iman Setiawan stated that his party did not closing forced fast food restaurants McDonald’s as an attempt to unravel congestion which happened on Jalan Raya Ciater, Serpong, South Tangerang, Friday (2/10/2020) night.

Congestion This occurs because the queue of consumer vehicles that take turns in drive thru to order food at McDonald’s Ciater with a discounted promo.

Previously, a video recording had circulated on social media stating that McDonald’s Ciater was forcibly closed by the police.

“It’s not closed, the vehicle is unraveled so that it doesn’t get stuck. There is no closure, ”explained Iman when asked for information via written message, Saturday (3/10/2020).

On Friday night, the police coordinated with the management to temporarily stop the queue so as not to disrupt traffic flow.

The police also cut the queue to prevent overcrowding.

Traffic jams caused by these fast food restaurants not only occur in Ciater, but also at several other points such as around McDonald’s Alam Sutra and BSD Plaza.

The restaurant’s discounted price promo runs for two days until this Saturday.
