Solo –
A total of 7 members of the Kaaba Youth Movement (GPK) community organization were arrested by police in the Jongke area, Solo, Central Java. The GPK member is suspected gang up on police.
Reported by detikJateng, Monday (21/3/2022), the root of the problem in the incident that occurred on Sunday (20/3/2022) was when a number of GPK members carried out a convoy in the middle of the city. Some violated traffic regulations such as not wearing a helmet and using a brong exhaust.
“It has been agreed that there will be no convoy, but what happened at around 11.00 WIB on the highway in front of Jongke Market, a convoy and procession of GPK masses from Klaten entered Solo, and traffic violations were taken,” said Solo Police Chief Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak.
However, the masses did not accept it. Instead, they fought the officers and beat them. The police then dispersed the convoy and arrested seven perpetrators of the beating.
“We are asking for 7 people for clarification and currently being investigated,” he said.
It turned out that all the perpetrators actually came from outside the city. No one is a resident of the city of Solo. “(They are members) including 5 people from Klaten, 1 person from Karanganyar and 1 person from Boyolali,” he explained.
