Police confirm the murder of a Bogor Vocational High School student Andriana Yubelia Noven Cahya (18), in an alley in Baranangsiang, Bogor City, already planned by the perpetrator. The police said the perpetrator had been waiting for Novena for two days before executing him.
“There is a plan. The plan is that he is waiting for the whereabouts of the victim. So it has been planned in advance. The perpetrators have been waiting for two days,” said the Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Bismo Teguh Prakoso accompanied by Bogor City Deputy Police Chief AKBP eko Prasetyo, at a press conference at the Bogor City Police Headquarters, Thursday (6/7/2023).
Bismo said that his party had confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, including CCTV at the scene.
“We have confiscated the evidence. Meanwhile, we have kept the CCTV evidence and of course we will coordinate the question lab scientific investigation to identify suspects,” he said.
Bismo further said that his party had used various methods to identify the perpetrator’s face from the existing CCTV footage. His party is also working with the Police Headquarters Labfor to identify the perpetrator’s face.
“Of course we will empower all of them, all of the existing technological potential. Whether it’s owned by the Regional Police, Police Headquarters, and other parties who have shed light on the disclosure of this case,” he said.
34 Witnesses Examined
Previously, Bismo said that his party was committed to solving this case thoroughly. So far, 34 witnesses have been questioned by the police.
“We have reported examining 34 witnesses and processing the TKP at the location and we are also involving the National Police Headquarters Laboratory for investigation. scientific crime investigation,Bismo said.

Bismo said that his party would continue to look for other witnesses, both those at the scene and those closest to Noven, in order to get new clues. Bismo stated that his party gave full attention to this case.
“Well, of course we will carry out further investigations of the people around the location and those closest to us to get new sources of information and clues,” he said.
“So we will pay attention to this, we are committed to overseeing this case so that it is revealed who did it,” he added.
In the near future, Kombes Bismo Teguh will also visit the victims’ families. He hopes to get new clues to catch the perpetrators of Noven’s murder.
“Our next step will also be to visit the victim’s family. There may be new clues to this incident and new information,” he added.
Investigators from the Satreskrim Polresta Bogor City Police will explore all possibilities to trace Noven’s killer.
“And we will conduct an investigation of all possibilities for clues to the whereabouts of the suspect and also we will also elaborate all channels with relevant agencies to find out the whereabouts of the perpetrators,” he concluded.
