The telegram is addressed to the regional police chiefs to supervise tourist attractions in their respective areas during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Therefore, Sigit asked the regional police chiefs to map tourist locations in their respective areas, both those that are open and closed during holidays.

He said this was to anticipate a surge in visitors to tourist attractions in the city because the government had issued a policy to ban Lebaran homecoming.

He instructed the regional police chief to secure and tighten supervision of the implementation of health protocols in tourist destinations that receive tourists during the Eid holidays.

In this connection, Sigit asked the regional police chief to coordinate with related ministries, agencies or agencies, the Covid-19 Task Force, and tourism managers to form a task force at tourist sites.

If there are tourists who are found positive for Covid-19 but are determined to enter tourist attractions, they must be given sanctions.

“Take firm action in accordance with the laws and other applicable regulations if there is a violation in tourism,” said Sigit.

Furthermore, Sigit wants tourism managers to carry out government instructions related to the Covid-19 health protocol, namely by providing a place for washing hands with soap, increasing the mandatory 5M information media, prohibiting entry to people who have symptoms of fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, and shortness of breath. .
