Police check for PLF form in Belgian airports this weekend | Inland

The airport police will check in all Belgian airports on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. “We expect many returning travelers by the end of the autumn holidays,” said the spokesman for the federal police. “It is important to check whether travelers have a PLF.” Travelers who do not comply with the rules risk a fine of 250 euros.

Travel organization TUI is concerned about the announcement. “The checks risk causing long waiting times and having unpleasant consequences for those who do not have the form with them,” warns spokesman Piet Demeyere. The federal police confirms that there may indeed be some nuisance, but ensures that the control action is handled smoothly.
