The police intervened to check the viral video CCTV footage showing a mysterious white figure in the photo Coal, North Sumatra (North Sumatra). What was the result?
The results of the check were conveyed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Labuhan Ruku Police, Ipda Kriswanto, after visiting the house of a resident named Bustomi alias Tomy and checking the CCTV footage. CCTV footage shows the white figure itself going viral because it is accompanied by a narrative of banging on the house.
“So after we re-look at the CCTV footage, the white figure can be seen in the video condition in the video below-pause, stop so. It could be a bird, an insect or something,” said Ipda Kriswanto in Talawi, Batu Bara, North Sumatra, Saturday (31/7/2021).
Kriswanto said the CCTV position, which was in a state ofpause it was allegedly re-recorded via cell phone. According to him, it made a white shadow stand tall like in the viral video.
“Yes, we urge the community not to assume anything. So don’t think it’s a ghost figure or anything. It’s important that we straighten it out so that there are no thoughts of any kind,” he said.
The owner of the house, Tomy said his intention was to find out who knocked on his door through CCTV footage. He was shocked when the footage went viral and widen about the existence of a mysterious white figure.
Tomy also asked the public not to overreact to the viral video in front of his house. He asked residents not to associate the white figure with mystical things.
“I was contacted by people from everywhere asking about the video. I said I also didn’t know it was a white shadow or could it be a bird or what. I never thought about negative things,” he said.
About Viral Videos
In the viral video, residents are seen watching footage on the CCTV monitor screen for a building material business shop.
“Last night we were shocked by the pounding on the house at eight o’clock, then he banged on my neighbor’s house at 05.00 in the morning, then another neighbor of mine was also banged on at dawn, I don’t know what time. We want to see who did it,” said the recorder.
The video recorder shows the situation of several people gathering to pay attention to who the person who pounded the house was talking about. When the recording was played, there was a white figure standing in front of one of the houses.
“Ya Allah! La haulawala kuwata illa billah. I swear guys, I got goosebumps,” said the voice in the video.
The white figure was seen for a few seconds in CCTV footage and suddenly disappeared. Several people who saw the white figure then recorded it with their gadgets.
The video uploader, Nirwana Asty, admitted that he got the video from another Facebook account whose posts had been locked. He admitted that the incident occurred in the area where he lives in Talawi, Coal.
“The area is the same as mine. In Talawi District,” said Asty.
