More than ten activists were injured when a police car knocked them over during a Black Lives Matter demonstration. These images show how ‘no justice, no peace’ screaming protesters surround a police car. The driving officer was forced to continue driving, as a result of which some activists ended up on the windshield of the car. Rather than stopping or slow-moving, the agent is seen to press the accelerator. A demonstrator falls for the approaching wheels of the car, but manages to roll away just in time.

It was activist Ethan Ketner who canned the footage and put it online: “Along with 10 to 12 others, I was startled by this reckless driver who apparently has a police badge. The officer drove into us for no reason as we walked past their cars. This is definitely an act of aggression. ”
