A police car from the Suriname Police Force rammed a metal EBS power pole last night. The editors of Waterkant.Net learn that this is a one-sided traffic accident that took place at about 5 am on the Saramaccastraat in Paramaribo.
This is a so-called pro car from the Latour police station. This came from the center and drove towards Latour. The driver probably lost control of the wheel for an unknown reason and came to a stop at Tropicana Casino against the EBS post.
Nobody was injured. The damage to the vehicle is quite as shown in the photos below. The pole was also severely damaged.
