The police had to travel to a night club in Hafjell on Saturday evening, as there were many people who were heavily intoxicated and there was a poor atmosphere outside the place.
– There were a lot of people, and an amazing atmosphere. We traveled to the location. The challenge was that there were many people and many were very drunk. There were long queues, and they got angry because they didn’t get into the place fast enough. It eventually worked out, says operations manager Atle Bernhoft von Obstfelder.

One person was also expelled from the scene by the police.
– There was a person who had been removed from the site by guards several times that evening. He then received an order from the police not to visit the place again before 8am today, and he has complied, he says.
The person who was expelled is a man in his 20s from the district.
A little later in the evening, the police came across a heavily intoxicated young woman lying in the snow near a restaurant in Hafjell.
The woman was followed up by the police patrol until an ambulance took over. She was followed up by health.
– She was very drunk and unable to take care of herself, and was picked up by an ambulance. This was a woman in her 20s, who is not from the district, says the operations manager.

– Otherwise, there have been a few incidents, but with so many people out, things have mostly gone very well. When there are so many people in the mountains, you have to make some allowances, says Obstfelder.
