Police ask for help to find the suspect of pushing a mother down the stairs of a NYC subway station and claiming her life

After more than three months that a 58-year-old woman died after being pushed down the stairs of a subway station in Manhattan, the New York City Police recalled Wednesday that the suspect is still free and they are asking for the public’s help to find his whereabouts.

Police officers identified the suspect as 52-year-old David Robinson 11 days after he allegedly pushed Than Wtwe Than down the steps as the two climbed from the lower level of the Canal Street subway station. The victim’s son, 22, was with her.

That was around 9:40 a.m. on July 17. The 58-year-old mother, who suffered severe trauma to her skull, died four days later.

Authorities had said the confrontation allegedly started over the 22-year-old son’s backpack. Robinson allegedly made a complaint about it, then pulled him over, and both mother and son collapsed down the stairs. The son, however, was not injured.

If you have information about this case and the suspect you can confidentially call the authorities at 1-888-57-PISTA.
