Two suspects were arrested in Saint-Gilles south of Nîmes. During the searches, the police discovered several hundred packs of contraband cigarettes.
2 men, aged 20 and 16, were arrested by police officers from the Departmental Security in Saint-Gilles, south of Nîmes. They had spotted a suspicious vehicle, the driver of which was very suspicious. A distrust which prompted the police to follow the car, the behavior of the individuals suggesting trafficking. During a check the two young people admitted to carrying boxes of cigarettes. They were remanded in custody.
During the search of the warehouse that the two suspects had left before their check, the police discovered 72 boxes each containing 50 cartons of cigarettes.
The young people were left free. A preliminary investigation is opened
