The police arrested two men in the Sacramentsstraat in Leeuwarden on Monday evening on suspicion of involvement in an (attempted) robbery earlier in the evening on the Oldegalileen.
A weapon was also allegedly used. It is unclear if anything was stolen during the robbery.
Soon after the robbery, the police found several possible suspects in Sacramentsstraat. A police spokesman said two men were taken to the police station.
Officers are also conducting investigations and have spoken to witnesses. More is unknown at the moment.
