Two people were pre-arrested in the case of drug trafficking in high schools. The measure was taken after new home searches took place yesterday. The police found drugs in the students’ homes.
Seven people were questioned after Tuesday’s searches.
Against the two, the judge of rights and freedoms of the Bucharest Court ordered preventive arrest. In relation to five other people, the measure of judicial control was taken, a measure contested by the DIICOT prosecutors, who are coordinating the investigation.
Following the home searches, approximately 300 grams of cannabis, two grams of cocaine, five grams of ketamine and benzodiazepine tablets, five mechanical shredders, four high-precision electronic scales, several mobile phones with SIM cards and the sum of 4,700 lei, of which there is a reasonable suspicion that it comes from drug trafficking activities.
Prosecutors claim that, since 2022, members of the group have sold high-risk and high-risk drugs to consumers, including high school students in Bucharest.
