The Kepahiang Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a hand-catching operation (OTT) related to an irrigation project in Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu. In this OTT, the police arrested two people and confiscated Rp. 300 million in cash.
Reported detikSumbagselHead of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kepahiang Police, Iptu Doni Juniansyah, said that the two people arrested had the initials KA and FY. One of them is ASN.
“It’s true that we are doing OTT, we have secured two people. One of them is ASN and there is Rp. 300 million in cash,” Doni said when confirmed, Thursday (29/6/2023).
Meanwhile, one other person, FY from the private sector, also claimed to be one of the DPR RI staff. Rp. 300 million, which is suspected of being a project fee, was also confiscated in the OTT.
“Meanwhile, two people, one person from the ASN as the head of the PMD Service in the Kepahiang Regency. Another one from the private sector who claims to be staff of a member of the Republic of Indonesia DPR. This OTT is related to a village irrigation project,” Doni explained.
The two perpetrators have been named as suspects. They were subject to Article 11 and Article 12 letter e of the Corruption Crime Act (Tipikor).
