The police arrested two people on Friday who are suspected of being involved in a fatal shooting in Hoofddorp last Monday. Then a suspect was already arrested.
On Monday, July 13, a nineteen-year-old man from Amsterdam was killed in a shooting incident on Opaallaan in Hoofddorp. Attempts were made to resuscitate the victim on the spot, but to no avail.
Witnesses were able to give the police a description of the suspect. The officers appeared to have seen him as they drove to the location of the shooting incident and were able to arrest the suspect, a twenty-year-old man from Amsterdam, moments later.
The two people arrested on Friday are two nineteen-year-olds from Amsterdam. All three suspects were brought before the examining magistrate and placed in detention. The police cannot say anything about the motive of the shooting.
