Police Arrest Suspected Provacator for Siege of Mother Mahfud’s House …

JAKARTA – The police arrested a resident of Pamekasan, East Java with the initials AD who was suspected of being the perpetrator of the siege to the house of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD . “The suspect, AD, is a resident of Pamekasan East Java,” said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono through his official statement, Saturday (12/5/2020).

The suspected AD perpetrators allegedly visited Mahfud MD’s house on December 1, 2020, at around 14:10 WIB. He climbed the gate of the house where Mahfud MD’s mother, Hj Siti Khotijah lived on Jalan Dirgahayu No.109, Pamekasan, East Java.

AD is suspected of having committed a criminal act of inciting other people to commit crimes, committing violence, thus causing a health emergency. AD allegedly shouted by saying ‘Mahfud Get out !! If Habib Rizieq is made a suspect and arrested, burn Mahfud’s house !! And kill Mahfud !! ‘.

For his actions, AD is suspected of Article 160 of the Criminal Code and or Article 335 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code threatens 6 years imprisonment.
