This Tuesday, December 26 at the end of the morning, the gendarmes of the Limoux brigade carried out a road check. Shortly before noon, they intercepted a 45-year-old Malvois who was driving without insurance. They continued the investigations and noted that the person concerned no longer had any points on his driving license.
Submitted to screening, the driver tested positive for cannabis. He quickly admits to having consumed and still having a little product on him. He handed over some 5 grams of herbal cannabis to the soldiers who decided to place him in police custody.
The search carried out at his home ultimately led to the discovery of two kilos of herbal cannabis but also the incidental seizure of an undeclared 12 gauge hunting weapon. The person concerned will soon have to answer for his actions before the Carcassonne judicial court.
