The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that this Thursday, August 3, in the El Milagro neighborhood, Puerto Barrios, Izabal, police officers from the Police Information Division detained two Colombians.
They are Wilson “N”, 31 years old, and Anderson “N”, 25, quick loan collectors “drop by drop” from whom the blue M-039HVN motorcycle, three cell phones and Q1 thousand 580 were confiscated, with which they tried to avoid being arrested for committing the crime of usury.
While police officers from the Petén police station captured two men aged 31 and 44 on a motorcycle in the La Ermita neighborhood, San Benito, when they were collecting loans, committing the crime of usury; and upon identifying them, a 9-millimeter caliber pistol was found, which they carried with their respective license.
In addition, they had three hoppers, 27 ammunition, several empty notebooks and notebooks with data from residents of that place, and Q4 thousand 865 with which they intended to avoid police work.
According to the PNC, so far in 2023, 62 people have been captured in the “Against the Crime of Usury” operational plan of “drop by drop” lenders, of whom 57 are Colombians.
Also in the El Centro neighborhood, Jalpatagua, Jutiapa, policemen captured Rolando “N”, 26, and Harold “N”, 33, alleged workers of a daily loan and collection company, who were denounced by a citizen for being alleged extortionists.

The M-967JHN motorcycle was confiscated from both of them, which carried a license plate with an alteration in the nomenclature, and without the circulation card, they also had two cell phones and Q560.

Most are Colombian
