The police arrested a brother and sister for throwing away a baby that was the result of their intimate relationship or inses.
This arrest was the result of the finding of a baby’s body in an empty land near Mas Naga Housing, Bekasi, West Java, on Wednesday (9/6) around 16.00 WIB.
“We have named two suspects and detained them,” said Head of Public Relations of the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Erna Ruswing when contacted, Thursday (10/6).
However, Erna has not revealed further about the identity of the brothers. He also has not explained in detail about the chronology of this case.
Erna only said that the brothers had confessed to their actions in throwing away the baby from their incestuous relationship.
“He has (admitted his actions),” said Erna.
In this case, said Erna, the two suspects will be charged with Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
Separately, the Head of RT 04/RW 01 Kelurahan Bintara Jaya Nasrudin confirmed that the baby’s body that was found was the result of the relationship between the brothers.
“Initially they refused (to admit), we only had our suspicions, then we called the midwife who really understood which ones were menstruating, which ones had given birth.
