Police arrest 80 protesters on Het Plein in The Hague | Inland

Agents have asked activists to leave. Because they did not comply, they were arrested and transported to a police location. According to the police, the arrests went quietly.

On Wednesday evening, the agents also arrested twelve people who were demonstrating in the square near the Lower House. Earlier that evening, a demonstration against the corona law was dissolved by order of Mayor Jan van Zanen. Attendees then still left Het Plein, but returned later around 9 p.m., according to the police.

There was also no request for a demonstration in the square on Wednesday.
