Darmstadt (ots) – On Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, around 4:40 p.m., there was an accident between a car and a child riding a bicycle in Grundstraße in Darmstadt-Kranichstein. The 11-year-old child crossed the main road with his bicycle, where he was hit by a presumably blue small car. The child fell to the ground with his bicycle and was seriously injured. The driver of the small car involved in the accident got out first and asked how the child was, but then left the accident site without permission.
The unknown driver is said to have been around 50 years old, 160-170cm tall and strong, had short black and / or gray hair and was probably German.
The small car could have scratches from the bike on the driver’s side.
The police are looking for people who can provide information about the small car or the driver or who can provide helpful information about the course of the accident.
