Police are investigating the deaths in Stord

The man is accused of leaving a person in a helpless state, the South West Police District said in a press release.

The woman was found dead at 6:30 am. She was found by the police after her family reported her missing shortly before her.

The findings at the scene and other information led to the man in his fifties being arrested a little later.

– The case is being investigated extensively and both forensic investigations and witness interviews are carried out, among other things. The police will try to question the accused during the day, the police wrote in the statement.
