It was during this arrest that the police were targeted by projectiles from a small group of three to four young people. A relatively intense episode since the officials had to use a tear gas canister and fire a defensive bullet launcher to free themselves and wait for reinforcements.
Then, upon entering the police vehicle, the young man suddenly kicked the vehicle several times and injured one of the officers in the hand. Shortly after, one of the perpetrators of the projectiles, a 23-year-old man, was also arrested.
Earlier in the afternoon, around 2 p.m., another police crew at the Galerie de l’Arlequin. There was no damage or injury and the perpetrators have not been identified.
