The police in Nordland were notified at 14.19 of an accident south of Gildeskål by Ureddplassen.
A tanker had run off the road.
– One is trapped, but is conscious, says operations manager Tommy Bech in Nordland police district.
The county road is now blocked and the emergency services are on site.
A tipper who came to the scene right after the police says that the police asked them to turn around due to the danger of explosion.
– We were told to move, he says.
Now they are one kilometer further north of the accident.
The police later state that there is no question of an explosion hazard.
– The driver has been rescued and is receiving health care. He must be conscious. All emergency services are on site, is the message.
