On an industrial estate in Roosendaal, the police seized 975 kilos of BMK (benzyl methyl ketone) in a warehouse. BMK is a raw material used in the production of the hard drug speed.
The police discovered the BMK by chance on Saturday evening. Patrolling officers saw that a light was on at the shed and that the roller door was open.
A man saw the police and lowered the roller door. The officers had the impression that he felt caught and drove their car under the roller door so that it could not close any further. Five people in the building immediately fled, writes Broadcasting Brabant.
The agents found the BMK in the shed. There were also hundreds of rolls of fabric used for furniture upholstery. They were stolen earlier this year.
No one has been arrested.
