Polda Metro Jaya raise your voice about the call for National Action Aksi Jokowi End Game, Saturday (24/7) tomorrow. In an appeal circulating on social media, the march will be held at the State Palace, Jakarta.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus asked the public to prevent crowds and not hold Jokowi’s demonstration End Game to avoid clusters of Covid-19 transmission.
“We can wisely avoid crowds so that they don’t become clusters again. How can we relax if there are more crowd activities. It’s a pity that hospitals, cemeteries, are full,” said Yusri at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday (23/7).
Yusri said that currently positive cases of Covid-19 are still high. He also asked all parties to see the condition of hospitals and public cemeteries that were already full.
“Look at the hospital, the cemetery is full. Do you want to extend this PPKM again, while the community hopes for relaxation,” he said.
Furthermore, Yusri said that until now his party had not received a notification letter regarding Jokowi’s demonstration plan End Game.
“Not yet, not until now,” he said.
Previously, the National Police Headquarters also asked the public not to hold demonstrations in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to him, the activity has the potential to cause crowds.
“We hope not to do crowds because of the high number of Covid-19 cases,” said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono when contacted, Friday (23/7).
