Polestar Introduces New Phone for Integration with Electric Cars

Polestar has been renewing its fleet and introducing new electric cars, which we will soon see on the roads. As other brands have already done, it also wants to give some extra things to users and that is why it has now presented something new. We are talking about the Polestar Phone, the brand’s new proposal that will have a unique integration with the brand’s electric cars.

Despite being presented now, the Polestar Phone has been the subject of many previously published information.  Last week was very active, with rumors and private information being made public and for everyone to know.
Now, Polestar has released its first smartphone, which is currently only available in the biggest market on the planet, China.  This is, in fact, the Meizu 21 Pro, with aesthetic changes.  This is because both Meizo and Polestar are owned by the Chinese car giant Geely.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is present at the device, a 6.79-inch 1368 × 3192 120 Hz OLED LTPO display made by BOE and capable of a maximum brightness of 1,850 nits, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, 16 GB of RAM, 1TB of storage. 
It also has a triple camera system on the back (50 MP main with OIS, 13 MP ultra-wide, 10 MP 3x telephoto with OIS), a 32 MP selfie camera and a 5,050 mAh battery with support for 80W wireless charging 50W.  charge and back charge 10W.

The phone is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.  It is 164.98 x 74.42 x 7.98 mm and weighs 214g.  It is only offered in Polestar White color.  The specifications are identical to those of the Meizu 21 Pro and it seems that the only way to buy this Polestar smartphone is through the brand's app.
Of course, the main selling point of this device is its tight integration with Polestar cars.  UWB allows it to be the car's digital key.  The same applies to the AI ​​gallery generation image feature, AI-assisted entry function, as well as Polestar Link for seamless connection with cars other than the Polestar 4.
