Poles have incredibly low food prices. They overtook us in everything. Why are it not possible with us, people ask

At present, more and more scissors are beginning to open between countries. Across Europe, rising energy, food and service prices are a huge problem. But there are differences in how individual states can cope.

It just goes elsewhere

Unfortunately, we do not seem to be proceeding positively with this comparison. In the Czech Republic, more and more people are falling into poverty without being able to imagine it a few months ago. But they simply have no choice. Suddenly, they have several times more expensive slips and buy less goods in the store for the same money.

If that were the case everywhere in the surrounding states, there would probably be no choice but to say that somehow it had to survive and that we had a difficult time ahead of us. However, people have the opportunity to go abroad and see that elsewhere it is different.

A great example is Poland, which acted very quickly and intervened at the first signs of a significant rise. In particular, it reduced the tax burden and set various subsidies. As a result, energy prices are acceptable here, as are the amounts that need to be spent on food purchases.

Such savings are not easy to see

This can be seen at a glance. Czechs used to go to Poland for cheap shopping, but now it has become a huge phenomenon. He is already practiced by people who would have turned up their noses at him in the past and wondered why their fellow citizens were going through something like that.

But we found that it is really 30 to 40% cheaper in Poland. Yes, we save so much on one purchase. If I buy in the amount of 5,000 CZK, I will save two thousand. That can no longer be ignored. In addition, we refuel even cheaper, which is another saving of at least five hundred,Ms. Dagmar describes how she liked shopping in the neighboring country. At the same time, before the massive rise in prices in the Czech Republic, shopping tourism would not have occurred to her.

I really do not understand how such differences in prices can be, especially in a single market in Europe. All I can think about is that someone is doing something wrong and the Poles probably won’t,“Said Mr. Pavel, whom we met in the parking lot at one of the border shopping centers.
