This is one of the changes at the start of the year: since Monday January 1, 2024, Pôle Emploi has become France Travail. A change of name which is part of the reform of the public employment service in order, the Ministry of Labor, Full Employment and Integration is told, to achieve full employment.
A change in “naming” but without upheaval, at least immediately.
This is what ensures Fabrice Marie-Rose, the regional director of – from now on – France Travail.
The name is changing, the missions will evolve but our commitment will remain exactly the same in the service of Guadeloupeans, both for individuals and for businesses. In an extremely concrete way, there are many actors in employment, integration, training and this can sometimes take on a form of complexity. The idea, with France Travail, is better articulation, therefore strengthened cooperation for greater relevance and efficiency between all stakeholders.
This reform will be “progressive”, further maintains the regional director. “We are going to give ourselves 3 years overall to be able to move forward, experiment, see what works in our territory. It’s more territorialization, more experimentation, here in Guadeloupe and, depending on the situation, we will generalize.”
Redesign of registration and applicants in 2025
The first big step will be the redesign and registration of job seekers. It will take place on January 1, 2025. At that time, all people looking for work will have to register with France Travail (job seekers, RSA beneficiaries, young people monitored by the Local Mission, people with disabilities monitored by Cap Emploi, etc.).
All these people will have to register and, afterward, will be oriented, with personalized support
This change is therefore being carried out gently since, although the France Travail logo is already visible on communication media, it is however still not visible on agency panels.
Moreover, the operator’s site remains ” www.poleemploi.fr ».
Véronique Bonraisin, Deputy Regional Director in charge of Networksprovides some explanations.
We have some visuals already installed. But we are governed by public markets. We are looking forward to the end of June, the summer holidays. Little by little, all the signage of our agencies will be changed. Our logo was produced by internal employees at the former “Pôle Emploi” company and, then, the 57,000 employees of Pôle Emploi were able to vote
