Polda Metro Calls Child Persecutors Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives F-PDIP Surrendered

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Polda Metro Jaya stated that FM, the perpetrator of the beating of the victim Justin Frederick, had surrendered.

This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan when explaining the chronology of the arrest of the perpetrator, who has now been named a suspect.

“At 19.00, the perpetrator turned himself in by coming to the office for an examination,” Zulpan told reporters on Monday (6/6/2022).

During the examination, said Zulpan, investigators obtained two pieces of evidence which were considered sufficient to raise the case to the investigation stage.

FM was also named a suspect in the alleged abuse of the daughter of PDI-P politician Indah Kurnia. He is suspected of Article 351 and/or 170 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).

“Evidence also supports and establishes one person as a suspect,” said Zulpan.

“The suspect is under Article 351 of the Criminal Code and or 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison,” he said.

For information, the Polda Metro Jaya previously arrested AF along with another man with the initials FM, who was also involved in the same case.

The police have established FM as a suspect in the case of beating Justin on Sunday (06/05/2012).

The video of the alleged beating experienced by Justin is circulating on social media.
