At the end of October, a new community fair will take place at Messe Hamburg: the Polaris Convention. One of the organizers is Super Crowd Entertainment.
Update May 5. 2022: The working title has now become the final name of the new community fair: The Polaris Convention is to take place as planned from October 28th to 30th, 2022 in the Hamburg exhibition halls – a format that combines games, creators, e-sports, Japanese popuculture and cosplay under one roof.
Market-leading influencers, YouTubers and streamers have already confirmed, including PietSmiet, DoktorFroid, FisHC0p, Farbenfuchs, eosAndy, Ninotaku, Maul Cosplay and many more.
The organizers (Hamburg Messe und Congress, Super Crowd Entertainment, Rcadia) are starting sales this Thursday, which means exhibitors can register with immediate effect Sign in.
Message from March 3, 2022: “You’ve had to wait a long time … but it’s finally here” raunt the teaser trailer: On the last weekend of October (October 28th to 30th, 2022) the Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC), the gaming center Rcadia and the event organizer Super Crowd (Indie Arena Booth, Hamburg Games Conference) are organizing “huge community universe in the north”.
The new format with the working title ‘Polaris’ combines games, e-sports, cosplay, creators, artists and Japanese pop culture – flanked by an online component including a mobile app, streaming show and hybrid stand concepts.
The community convention will take place in the halls of Messe Hamburg. Its chairman Bernd Aufderheide is already excited: “A cool topic, a crass format. I’m excited. Both fit perfectly with HMC and Hamburg. The gaming community also benefits from the location of our halls, in the immediate vicinity of some of the city’s most creative districts. Working and partying – there couldn’t be better conditions for the ‘Polaris’.”
After Photophia (2021) and Future Moves (2022), Polaris is already the third major new event within a few months.

The new gaming, e-sports and event location Rcadia in Hamburg is also one of the partners “unique experience” want to create at the community fair.
