Polarbröd becomes Official Partner for the Gothia Cup – wants to inspire “The most important goal”

The world’s largest youth football tournament, the Gothia Cup, continues to grow as Polarbröd becomes the new Official Partner.

– We are delighted to have brought in Polarbröd as a new Official Partner. This is a partnership we have high hopes for when it comes to activations on site as well as to strengthening our already strong sustainability work. I look forward to this and how we together implement and develop the parts we enter into the partnership with, says Anders Albertsson, event manager at Gothia Cup.

Gothia Cup’s sales manager, Thomas Anderson, sees the new partnership as an opportunity to continue developing the tournament.

– We are incredibly happy and proud to welcome Polarbröd as a new Official Partner to the Gothia Cup family. In addition to Polarbröd supplying the tournament with its fantastic products, we will also work together to contribute to a more sustainable future and a better world for our children and young people. We are excited to begin this journey together and make a positive impact on the world, says Thomas Anderson.

During the Gothia Cup, Polarbröd will spread the message about “The most important goal” – regardless of whether it is about sustainability goals, setting the decisive goal in a match or how significant a simple sandwich can be.

Football players realize the importance of helping each other to reach the goal. Being able to collaborate is also crucial to reaching the global sustainability goals that have been set, therefore we will have activities that encourage collaboration on our event space, says Maria Eriksson, Marketing Area Manager at Polarbröd.

Polarbröd, together with Gothia Cup, will, within the framework of the partnership, work actively towards the global goal for sustainable development number 13, to combat climate change.

– We know that many young people are interested in sustainability issues. Therefore, we are very happy about the opportunity to raise these important issues in a light-hearted way during Sweden’s biggest football tournament for young people, says Maria Eriksson
