Father Elie Kneisser, a specialist in weather conditions and climatology, stated that the effect of the polar waves continues on Lebanon until Friday morning, and it is expected that Lebanese regions will witness an influx of wet masses that will lead to light local snowfall during the day, especially over the western mountains that rise 1100-1000 meters. .

The afternoon and evening temperatures will drop significantly, and the cold wave will begin to recede, as of Friday morning.

Wednesday’s weather is cloudy with snow “flakes” on the western mountains in a sporadic and intermittent manner, with an intensification of the cold wave at night and Thursday dawn, and snow forms on the mountain roads.
