He also urged President Andrzej Duda not to delay and give the party alliance a chance to lead the country.
“Today, the president has an opportunity to show himself as a true statesman who has Poland’s best interests at heart,” Holownia said.
TD, former Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Civic Coalition (KO) and the “Young Left” party have started negotiations.
Duda is a former member and ally of the ruling national conservative party “Law and Justice” (PiS).
PiS received more votes than other parties in the elections, but it lost its majority in the parliament.
Traditionally, the president is the first to give the opportunity to form the government to the party that received the most votes.
PiS has also committed to securing a majority in the new convocation, however, taking into account the distribution of seats in the legislative assembly, this seems impossible.
Duda has not yet hinted at what he is going to do.
According to the constitution, he should evaluate the political division in the parliament, select the new prime minister and instruct this person to form the government, which the parliament will then vote on.
The parties that have now agreed on government talks cover a wide political spectrum, and on some important issues, including abortion, their programs differ.
As Holovnia said, the party leaders have started good negotiations on the conditions for forming the government and the results of the negotiations are expected in the new week.
