The first opponent of the Poles in the LN will be Scotland, which, like our players at Euro 2024, suffered two defeats (against Germany and Hungary) and drew with Switzerland. The last time both teams faced each other in a direct clash was in 2022, when Czesław Michniewicz made his debut on the coaching bench. At that time, the match ended in a 1:1 draw. In total, out of seven matches, five of them ended in a draw. The Scots won once (in 2014 1:0), and the Poles triumphed in… 1965, winning 2:1.
