Direct speech: “We will analyze the situation, but such statements by the Belarusian services should be approached with great caution. These are services that are a direct continuation of the Lukashenka regime.”
Details: He admitted that the statement could be a provocation by Minsk, “which would be quite natural” against the backdrop of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Poland.
“You can regularly read articles in the Belarusian media that Poland is about to attack Belarus, there is a lot of such nonsense,” the diplomat added.
Recall:
Earlier on Friday, the State Border Committee of Belarus said that a Polish military helicopter on Friday afternoon, September 1, allegedly violated airspace in the Berestovichi district of the Grodno region. “A Polish military helicopter Mi-24 crossed the state border at an extremely low altitude, flew to a depth of up to 1,200 meters into the territory of Belarus, and then returned back,” the report says. Recall that in early August there was a similar incident when two Belarusian helicopters flew into Poland at low altitude, which is why they were not immediately detected. Official Minsk continues to deny that it happened.
