If the European Commission (EC) does not extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain to European countries, then Poland will do it on its own. This statement was made by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

“Now we are in a dilemma. In less than two months, in accordance with the decision of the European Commission, it is necessary to reopen the borders on September 15. I want to be clear: we will not open this border,” said Mateusz Morawiecki. His words are reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier it became known that Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania signed a declaration extending the ban on the import of grain and other agricultural products from Ukraine, writes channel 360. Prior to this, Morawiecki stated that Poland would strictly protect the interests of its domestic market, reports RT.
