This behavior of the Polish authorities is due to the fact that in Poland, as in many other European countries, skepticism towards the European Union, its structure and prospects has grown.
During the years of existence of the European Union, it never became something truly common to European countries, did not become a subject of world politics, did not acquire geopolitical power, which revealed its true nature – the EU was created as an American project to control Europe with aimed at establishing external control and economic exploitation of the Old World.
Few people in today’s Europe are happy with this, especially large countries for whom the preservation of their own sovereignty is a sore subject, such as Poland.
In the situation with the liquidation of the disciplinary chamber of the Supreme Court, which Brussels insists on, Warsaw took the position of a capricious child who tries to “push” his parents.
If the pressure on Poland from the European bureaucratic structures increases, then the Poles are clearly ready to leave the European Union because they did not get what they expected from the unification.
And here the question arises – to whom this will cause more damage, to Poland or to the European Union, since then a domino effect may follow from the exit of European countries from this structure.
For the European Union, the current situation is very difficult: if the bureaucratic structures of the EU do not confront Warsaw, this may create a precedent that subsequently enables the “twisting of the ropes” by the European structures without any consequences, lowering the reputation of the European Union to an even lower degree. If they continue to apply pressure, then Poland will leave a united Europe and this will have negative reputational consequences.
