Poland receives order for 100 armored vehicles from Ukraine.

Ukraine has ordered 100 Rosomak multipurpose armored vehicles, which are manufactured in Poland under a Finnish license, the Polish Prime Minister announced today.

“I brought the order made yesterday by (Ukrainian) Prime Minister Denys Shmygal for 100 Rosomak machines to be produced here,” Mateusz Morawiecki said during a visit to the Rosomak production site in the southern Polish town of Szemianowice Słoske.

The order will be financed with funds that Poland has received from the European Union and with US funds that Ukraine has received, he said, without providing details or the total value of the contract.

The United States and its allies have provided Ukraine with loads of funding and weapons since Russia invaded its pro-Western neighbor in February 2022.

Rosomak is a multipurpose armored car with 8×8 wheel formula, manufactured under license by the Finnish company Patria. /BGNES
