On the Ukrainian-Polish border, a neighboring country organized humanitarian aid for Ukrainian citizens who, after a cynical Russian attack, decided to leave their homeland. In particular, at the Shegini checkpoint, Ukrainians are offered snacks, sweets, baby food, various drinks, as well as personal hygiene products.
As the interviewee says TSN. ua, immediately upon the arrival of buses at the Polish checkpoint, border guards bring water and pastries for Ukrainian passengers. Border guards are also on duty in the hall for passing the passport border, meeting citizens of Ukraine and inviting them to treat themselves to sweets.

Water for drinks is constantly brought to keep coffee or tea hot. Also Ukrainians are offered chocolate, cookies, snacks, pastries (croissants, donuts, buns), baby food. Individual medical masks, wipes and other hygiene products were placed on a separate table.
Groups of border guards are on duty at the so-called “humanitarian point” to keep order and provide assistance in need, and there are also ambulances. In particular, before our eyes, the border guards helped two women with small children. In addition, there are a lot of people at the checkpoint, meeting Ukrainians, as well as journalists.
Not far from the checkpoint, caring Poles offer Ukrainians their help – free housing or transfers to major cities in Poland. There are also stalls with different clothes and warm clothes.
