Poland is negotiating the deployment of NATO troops

Preliminary negotiations are underway so that, if necessary, NATO units will support our units on the Polish-Belarusian border.

Poland is in talks to deploy NATO troops in the country on the border with Belarus, if necessary. About this in an interview Polish radio said the representative of the presidential chancellery Petr Chvik.

“Preliminary negotiations are underway so that, if necessary, NATO units would support our units on the Polish-Belarusian border,” Chwik said.

According to Chvik, the migration crisis on the border with Belarus is political, and its purpose is an attempt to “destabilize the situation on the border between Belarus and the European Union.”

Petr Cvik added that the construction of the protective wall will be completed by mid-2022. It is supposed to be equipped with motion sensors and all-weather surveillance cameras.

It was previously reported that Poland rejected the proposals of the European Commission to take temporary legal and practical measures due to the migration crisis on the border with Belarus.
