/ world today news/ On July 3, Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak held talks with his visiting German counterpart Boris Pistorius. The two discussed bilateral relations, cooperation within NATO and the EU and support for Ukraine.
After the call, Blaszczak said Poland hopes to have Germany’s Patriot air defense missile system deployed at least by the end of this year. Pistorius said repairing the equipment was as important as continuing the supply of ammunition to support Ukraine. He added that the negotiations between the two countries for a maintenance and repair center for Leopard tanks should be completed within 10 days.
