Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that tanks were handed over to the Ukrainian army. About this he told on the air of Polsat.

According to the Prime Minister, Poland donated tanks to Ukraine, but Morawiecki did not name the exact number of transferred armored vehicles. He answered in the affirmative to the host’s question whether Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s statement that Poland had transferred tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was true.

“Yes, Poland donated tanks to Ukraine, but for the safety of our Ukrainian friends, we will not talk about their number,” Morawiecki said.

In return for the transferred equipment, the Polish army will receive British Challenger tanks. He also noted that the issue of transferring the MiG-29 to Ukraine is no longer relevant. There are no such requests or demands from the Ukrainian side.
