Poland expels Islamic radicals – Jauns.lv

“In April, an individual named Odilhon S., who was identified as a supporter of the Islamic State, illegally crossed the Belarusian-Polish border,” a spokesman for the Polish security coordinator said in a statement.

“Given the threat to the Republic of Poland, a Tajik citizen was deported from Poland,” added Stanislav Zharin.
A Tajik citizen “identified as a threat to Poland” following the steps taken by the Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW), the statement said.

The man “entered Poland in April using the illegal migration route organized by the Belarusian services,” said Jarin.

He was “detained by the Polish border guards and sent to a detention center for guarded aliens”.

“The activities of the detainee at the center testified to his religious radicalization,” according to a statement posted on gov.pl.

“As a result of the counter-terrorism measures taken by ABW, the person was found to be an Islamic radical and a supporter of the Islamic State,” the statement said, adding that Tajik was identified as a “threat to Poland” and deported on 10 November.
