Poland Begins Transfer of Troops to Belarusian Border: Operation Safe Podlasie

Poland has begun the transfer of troops to the Belarusian border, according to the Facebook page of the 12th mechanized brigade.

In the coming days, about a thousand soldiers and almost 200 pieces of equipment will move to the east of the country.

“The goal of Operation Safe Podlasie is the advanced training presence of a part of the Ground Forces and the demonstration of our will and ability to immediately respond to attempts to destabilize the situation on our border,” the message says.

Perhaps the transfer of troops is connected with the expected arrival of “Wagnerites” in Belarus.
