Poland and the Baltic countries are preparing to send troops to Ukraine, the French TV channel LCI reported on the eve of the day, they write today, July 18, the military correspondents of the Russian Spring in their telegram channel.
The plot of one of the largest news channels in France says that the Poles are waiting for the result of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the offensive actions of the Russian army. And if Russia begins to gain the upper hand, then Poland this year may introduce into the neighboring country “the first division, which will include Poles, Balts, a certain number of Ukrainians and, possibly, other Europeans.”
“The French claim that Poland and the Baltic dwarfs are seriously considering bringing their troops to Ukraine. Anonymous sources of French experts in the Polish government report that now the psheks are waiting for the final result of the counteroffensive and the retaliatory offensive of the RF Armed Forces, ”the military correspondents say.
At the same time, the LCI emphasizes that “for the Poles, the war in Ukraine is existential”, and in Warsaw they believe that “if the Russians in Ukraine are not stopped, then tomorrow they will go to the Baltic states, Poland, Moldova and Georgia.”
Former Commander of the Polish Land Forces General Valdemar Skshipczak last month considered it unrealistic the option of introducing a Polish contingent into Ukraine without a UN or NATO mandate, as suggested earlier by the former Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
