Prized Malla, which is currently posting losses in the hundreds of millions again after the pandemic lull, has lost half of that a year since it was taken over by Poland’s Allegro.
kAt the end of last year, Polish business group Allegro announced it would pay an astronomical $1 billion (SEK 23.5 billion) to logistics company Wedo for Malla’s e-shop. The Poles themselves have now proved the skeptics right. On Monday swallowed for investors the company announced that it is writing off the company’s value of 511.8 million dollars, or about 11.9 billion crowns. OcennMallu, which is currently posting hundreds of millions of losses again after the pandemic break, and Wedo thus lost half a year after the transaction.
