Chania Member of Parliament Pavlos Polakis, who in the recent internal party elections claimed the presidency of the party, is talking about a puzzle of defection that is completed with the departure of State MP Evangelos Apostolakis from SYRIZA-PS. In fact, he condemns the attitude of Evangelos Apostolakis and includes it in a conspiracy plan to liquidate SYRIZA…
Pavlos Polakis focuses on the fact that Evangelos Apostolakis was not even elected with a cross in the 2023 elections but was placed on the SYRIZA State ballot by the then party president Alexis Tsipras. In fact, he mockingly notes that while Evangelos Apostolakis criticizes SYRIZA for anti-democratic practices in his announcement, “he decided, probably in the name of democracy, to take the seat home”….
On the evening of Thursday, November 28, 2024, the Chania member of parliament reported the following on his personal social media:
“Slowly, slowly, the puzzle of apostasy is being completed. All those who accused SYRIZA of a lack of democracy, all those who spoke of regime practices, all those who accused us of a coup, I wonder what they are thinking today.
In the case of Admiral Apostolakis, they cannot even claim that he was elected with personal crosses since he was elected due to Alexis’ decision to place him in an electable position on the state ballot. And while he criticizes us for democratic practices with his announcement, he decided, probably in the name of democracy, to take the seat home.
Every day that passes, the plan of the entanglement to liquidate SYRIZA becomes more and more obvious and the protagonists of this effort become more and more ruthless.
Rest assured, all of you: the fiercer you fight us, the more stubborn you are.
SYRIZA is here, it is UNITED and soon it will be even STRONGER.
