“I’m here too” writes Pavlos Polakis in his post shortly after the pre-announcement of his candidacy by Stefanos Kasselakis, who seems to have chosen the #I’m Here as his Motto for the intra-party pre-election period.
The Cretan Member of Parliament opposes divisive speech, prioritizes programmatic positions and talks about a SYRIZA that will be “core of the progressive faction with strong social alliances” and “which will be the alternative governance solution to the Mitsotakis system”.

The Polakis post in detail:
“I’M HERE TOO!!
Below….
1) I have applied.
Other;;
2) No serious talk shall we have??
– Will we guarantee the unifying course by stopping the divisive positions here and there?
-We will discuss clear programmatic reason in conflict with entanglement, redistribution in favor of work, with clear red lines in foreign policy, with public control of a bank, PPC and the one refinery with borrower and first home protection, with strong social state;
-We will make it clear that we do not want a SYRIZA small and marginal or useful supplement to controlled center-left solutions BUT a SYRIZA core of the progressive faction with strong social alliances that will be the alternative GOVERNANCE SOLUTION to the Mitsotakis system that is closing its circle???”
